These New Jeans Are Suspect.

LB Jeans

You guys know that I’m the poster girl for Lane Byant. In a previous post I mentioned their NEW line of jeans that I was extremely excited about. Last week I decided to make my first purchase. When I went to the denim section all I saw were jeans in sizes 4, 5, and 6. I told my husband is it me or they are starting to supply “skinny chicks” clothes? First, Old Navy now my Lane Bryant. So, I proceed to ask an associate for help and she explained that the sizes were equivalent to your normal size at LB.

There are 3 different categories:

1. Yellow Fit (Straight Fit) – If your current jeans: Fit your waist but are baggy, fits hips/thighs but have to be unbuttoned.

2. Red Fit (Moderately Curvy) – If your current jeans: Ride down in the back of your waist have pockets that gap when you sit.

3. Blue Fit (Curvy) – If you current jeans: Gap in the back and clinch in the waist.

So I tried on 2 pairs that didn’t go past my hips. Knowing that I didn’t gain any weight, I knew something was wrong. But before I go off on my favorite plus size store, I don’t think it was totally their fault. I take some of the blame because I didn’t have the patience to go and try on more. But I don’t think the associate knew exactly what she was talking about. I should of done a little bit more research before relying on her opinion. So, I will definitely be making another visit to LB and I will have the time and the patience to try on as many jeans as I want.

I will give you guys an update to let you know if these NEW jeans are suspect. Have any of you guys purchased these new jeans from LB??? How do you feel about them???

    I can’t wait to go to the store and try these on. It’s suspect to me because my problem with jeans isn’t even listed, and they can’t possibly fit EVERYBODY.
