Carolina Herrea Resort runway took place in NYC on June 11, 2007. The scenery was filled with fresh plants and a narrow runway. The collection was extremely feminine with a Spring inspiration. The details were beautiful floral prints, jackets with A-line hems (reminiscing of the 60’s) with huge button on the center front of the jackets. The A-line skirt followed suit with great floral prints and some had tulle underneath. The dresses were long and feminine with pleats in the front. The remainder of the collection had cocktail, evening, and casual dresses that seemed as if the models could of walked off the runway and went on vacation!!! The palette was wonderful with a hint of red, lavender, cream, and black. At the end of the show she walked out with her head designer Herve’ Pierre. To contiune reading article click HERE.
In my opinion it was a great resort runway, I loved the way each garment followed together. I just adored the feminine colors, silhouettes, and prints. And your really get the feeling of resort and being about to wear these garments to somewhere special.
