You are so much more beautiful than other models. I am happy that someone represents us not anorexic girls.

I would never conclude the looks of ‘Crystal Renn’ to be ‘Plus-size’. Plus size? That doesn’t really roll off the tongue does it? In that case ‘normal’ siZe models should be called ‘unhealthily underweight models’; as most of them do suffer from eating disorders.
Crystal Renn is beautiful, her curves only accentuate her natural beauty.Catwalk models are not attractive at all to me- their bodies look like boys’ bodies (underweight boys at that!) and their gaunt, hollow faces only lessen their beauty…
SAY ‘NO’ TO SIZE ZERO! Too many models are suffering to be unnaturally thin.

I too am a ‘plus size’ model, a size 14 to be exact and proud of it. I give a thumbs up to Crystal for embracing her beauty and taking charge of her life to become a role model for women and girls out there. I was once told that the reason fashion designers use skinny waifish women was because the majority of designers are gay men. And to them attractive is thin, no butt no boobs physiques that closely resemble a young man’s shape. Does that make sense? I think it does!! Bring on the curves dammit, we’re women not boys!!

I think she’s too ’small’ to be a plus size model. I find NOTHING wrong with her to even consider her ‘big’. While she may be big busted, and have some thicker thighs to her than a size 6, she’s still below a size 14….
Personally I enjoy women with some ‘meat on their bones’. They just look ‘healthy’

I believe that the (US)size 2 models are very underweight, and not promoting healthy body standards. But this doesn’t promote healthy bodies either…she looks un-fit, and not at all muscled. If it’s health you want, look towards athletes, not skin and bones, and not tubs of lard. There is NO muscle in this girl’s body, which is as disgusting as bones sticking out.
But then, it’s not about health, is it? It’s about making people feel good about themselves, which probabis doing no harm. Besides, we can’t blame models for our own problems, whether they choose to have overly fat, too thin or healthy physiques. We have to take responsibility for our own nutrition and exercise. There is a huge culture of blaming others for what is essentially our own fault.

Crystal Renn is gorgeous and NOT a plus sized model. She is of average weight and carrying it beautifully.
I disagree with ysabella’s assessment that “healthy” means muscular… for men maybe… but not women. As a strait man I am NOT attracted to skinny waifs or toned “sporty” women. Both of those body types say “man without a penis” to me.
I listen to what my body tells me when looking at women and when I see a beautiful curvy woman size 12-16, I go cartoon howling wolfman and loose control of my libido.
When I see a waif or buff woman I have the same physical reaction I have when looking at men… meh or morbid curiosity.

#1 Awesome about the gay bashing here. I love anecdotes being used to trash other people.
#2 Also awesome that if people happen to be smaller than the lovely Ms Renn, they’re anorexic.

Ysebella – you know what? how the hell do you know that she doesn’t work out everyday and eat right? Not every person is pre-disposed to look like a thin, ripped machine.
I work out everyday. I’ve run in races. I have tons of muscle and I eat well. That’s ignorant thinking of you to assume that I must be “unhealthy” just because I am not ripped. My body resembles ms. Renn’s no matter how hard I work out or how less I eat. There are tons of healthy women and men out there who don’t fit the narrow mold that you’ve imposed on them.
It’s self-righteous and haughty assumptions like the one you’ve just spouted that making me F*ing sick. I’m gonna assume you are one of those lucky people with a fast metabolism, otherwise you would know enough not to say that.

‘Goddess’ is not to bold a description for Crystal Renn…she is heavenly. I’d kick a million size zero and other small sized women out of my bed to make room for her. Ladies….Crystal’s shape is what you should aspire to if you want to look healthy and feminine, let alone sexy. Starving yourself to look like girls in magazines is actually castrating you of your femininity. It’s not just me either…99.9% of other guys I’ve talked to like curvy ladies…..some more than others and to varying degrees, but I honestly can’t remember the last time one said they liked “skinny” women.

She’s a real woman. It’s nice to hold someone in the dark and not need to place your hands in obvious places to be sure they’re female.

I think this young lady is simply stunning. Some women might be surprised to hear that many fellows find a larger woman sexier that a skinny woman.
Ultimately I think all women are beautiful and that beauty is enhanced when a woman feels herself to be beautiful. Self esteem and self worth are far more valuable that any cosmetics.
